Mikette: A Year in Review
2012 was such a busy yet blessed year for me. I have had so many opportunities to represent Michael Jackson. I have brought smiles to many people young and old all over. I've attended a variety of street fairs throughout the state of New Jersey and I even had an opportunity to perform in Gary, Indiana. I met Michael's brothers at a Jacksons' concert and his children in Gary, Indiana. I also met his friend, fellow singer Siedah Garrett. This was also the year of Bad and finally stepped foot in Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station in Brooklyn where they filmed the Bad video and the Wiz. I also had my very own showcase which will be televised in the New Year.

Goodwill Rescue Mission of Newark, NJ
12/15/12
Winter Clothing Drive was held at the Goodwill Rescue Mission in Newark, NJ by the Michael Jackson Fan Club- Newark, NJ. Members donated hats, gloves, scarves, coats, socks and more to over a dozen men, women and children. I even had the chance to perform for the crowd. It was a very spiritual moment that day doing Michael's work and seeing smiles on everyone's faces, especially in the wake of a tragic school shooting in Connecticut the day before. It felt so good to give back and show people that love still exist in the world.

My prayers are also going out to the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting. We send them our deepest sympathy.
