Mikette: A Year in Review
2012 was such a busy yet blessed year for me. I have had so many opportunities to represent Michael Jackson. I have brought smiles to many people young and old all over. I've attended a variety of street fairs throughout the state of New Jersey and I even had an opportunity to perform in Gary, Indiana. I met Michael's brothers at a Jacksons' concert and his children in Gary, Indiana. I also met his friend, fellow singer Siedah Garrett. This was also the year of Bad and finally stepped foot in Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station in Brooklyn where they filmed the Bad video and the Wiz. I also had my very own showcase which will be televised in the New Year.

Yes! I Finally Have Bad 25!
I know I am late posting about this, but my schedule has been extremely busy. The 25th anniversary of Bad, Bad 25, came just as when I was on my way home from Gary, Indiana. The original Bad album was released August 31, 1987. You know I have to yell out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAD!!!" LOL. The reissued edition was release September 18, 2012. This is Michael's second album to be re-released. The first was Thriller. His I am so happy to have the original album along with the 25th edition.

After my performance this past sunday (9/30/12), I brought my copy from Best Buy on Route 22. They had the 2-disc edition with the original album and the unreleased songs. Then they had the deluxe case with the 4-disc, one being the Michael Jackson: Live at Wembley July 16, 1988 show on DVD. I went for the deluxe one because I know the tour DVD will stay in my DVD player. LOL. Plus I can use it as a study guide for performing. Then again I just love seeing Michael prancing across the stage so gracefully. I love the bonus songs so much. My favorites are "Streetwalkwer," "Al Capone," and "Don't Be Messin' Around."

Red and Ray Bans
Michael Jackson wore so many elaborate and amazing outfits in his lifetime, whether they were for tours, videos, or appearances. They were full of sequin, diamonds and colors. Many of his outfits weighed more than his own body weight. But when it was all said and done, Michael Jackson seemed to be more known for his love for red buttoned up shirts and black pants. Along with the red shirts, he would wear his black fedora hat and a pair of black Ray Ban Wayfarer shades. This look was very big in the 1980s during the Bad era.
All you need is:
Red button up shirt
White V-neck t-shirt
Black fedora-like hat
Black Ray Ban aviator or wayfarer shades
Black pants
White socks
Black loafers
So simple, but yet so sexy!

Breathtaking

Here are my attempts. How did I do?
